Herzlich willkommen zu einer weiteren Roots N Culture Party im Session. Wir bringen mal wieder all das nach Bonn, was es für einen guten Dance braucht. Lauter nette Menschen und strictly gute Vibes. Neben den beiden Hosts, Granny Scratch und DJ Double Left ist es unser Ziel euch Artists und DJs nach Bonn zu lotsen, die ihren Teil zur Culture beitragen und beigetragen haben.
Dieses Mal haben wir was ganz besonderes für alle Roots und Soundsystem Liebhaber. Die ROOTS DAUGHTERS kommen mit ihrem SOUNDSYSTEM den ganzen langen Weg aus Berlin um mit euch eine weitere unvergessliche Partynacht im Session zu verbringen.
Gegründet im haben sich die Rootsdaughters schon im Jahr 2009, seit 2013 sind sie in Berlin und seit 2021 spielen Sie auf ihrem eigenen Soundsystem. Stark inspiriert von der Rastafari-Bewegung und der jamaikanischen sowie britischen Sound-System-Kultur bieten ihre Sessions einen Raum der Erhebung, der Verbundenheit, der Selbstermächtigung sowie des Austauschs von Vibes, Gedanken und Musik.
Sie sind leidenschaftliche Sound-System-Fans und Vinyl-Sammler, die euch Reggae-Musik in ihrer ganzen Schönheit und Vielseitigkeit erleben lassen – von den Anfängen bis hin zu aktuellen Veröffentlichungen, untermalt von Live-MCing und Chants.

A warm welcome to another Roots N Culture Party at Session. Once again, we’re bringing everything you need for a great dance party to Bonn: lots of friendly people and nothing but good vibes. Alongside our two hosts, Granny Scratch and DJ Double Left, our goal is to bring artists and DJs to Bonn who are contributing—and have contributed—to the culture.
This time, we have something very special for all Roots and soundsystem lovers. The ROOTS DAUGHTERS are coming all the way from Berlin with their SOUNDSYSTEM to spend another unforgettable party night with you at Session.
Founded in 2009, the Rootsdaughters have been based in Berlin since 2013 and have been playing on their own soundsystem since 2021. Deeply inspired by the Rastafari movement and Jamaican and British sound system culture, their sessions offer a space for upliftment, connection, self-empowerment, and the exchange of vibes, thoughts, and music.
They are passionate sound system fans and vinyl collectors who let you experience reggae music in all its beauty and diversity—from its early days to the latest releases, accompanied by live MCing and chants.
