Roots and Resonance presents a Good Friday Concert.
A day filled with music, reflection, and deep emotion, where traditional melodies meet contemporary expression. The concert features live performances that convey both solemnity and a sense of community in the spirit of Good Friday
NBV Syd warmly invites you to the first day of this year’s series Roots and Resonance presenterar at NBV – a recurring gathering for music, culture and community in Malmö.
This time, within Roots & Resonance, we present the international Yıldırım & Rosales Duo, with roots in Turkey and Argentina.
The duo creates an intimate and boundary-crossing performance where poetry, improvisation and music meet beyond language. Blending the resonant voices of kamancha, guitar and spoken word, Turkish and Spanish poems are woven into a living sonic landscape shaped by listening, intuition and presence.
Their music moves between traditional folk melodies and free improvisation. Meaning unfolds through vibration, rhythm and sound – before words are fully understood.
The audience is invited to take part in a multilingual poetry circle.
Please bring a short poem or text in Swedish, English or any other language. Together, we transform the concert into a shared act of creation.
