Together we’ll explore Gordon Parks’ storytelling, photography, artistry, and reflections on race, creativity, survival, and using art as a form of resistance.
WHY WE GATHER
Rooted Reads exists to create intentional spaces centered around Black literature, art, culture, and storytelling. Through honest discussion and shared reflection, we build community while engaging with the work of influential Black authors and creatives.
