Rooted in Wellness- Fire Cider Workshop
About this Event
Get ready to gert down and dirty with clinical herbalist and herb farmer, Amy Boldt, MS, RH(AHG) ! You'll learn about the amazing power of roots before heading out on the farm to dig up your own roots, which you'll be adding to your very own batch of fire cider.
Fire cider is a traditional tonic made with apple cider vinegar, which is infused with vegetables and herbs to support the immune system. It is often used to combat colds and the flu, but it also has many other benefits- sign up to learn more!
Just bring a mason jar, something to dig with, and good clothes to dig in! Everything else will be supplied for you.
This is a rain-or-shine event!
GPS often takes folks to my neighbor's house. Please make sure you are arriving at 3302 Mail Rd in Westminster; the driveway has a Barefoot Medicine Farm sign next to it. Park up at the house off to the right (at an angle) to accommodate everyone. We will meet down in the apothecary. Follow the path along the left and down to the patio area.
