Rooted in Soil is the second installment of Panta Rhei, a collection of concerts that highlight humanity's connection to its surroundings. Rooted in Soil shows how the natural world and the human condition can mirror each other. Composers and pieces on this program include Jake Runestad's American Triptych, and works by Ticheli, Esenvalds, and many others. 🎶The SolUnity Singers is CitySingers' newest performing ensemble, comprised of professional singers who are capable of singing solo repertoire as well as unifying into one resonant pulse. "Solo" and "Unity" perfectly describe Solunity's mission.
Artistic Director, Jeff Cregeur, leads 11 unique voices in a redefinition of the classic choral concert. As a classically trained singer, he puts vocal efficiency at the forefront of every artistic choice, giving SolUnity's sound power and finesse. Take witness to this experimental and engaging acoustic event on Solunity's debut concert, Rooted in Soil, on March 7 and 14 at 4:00 pm.
