About this Event

Join SNE Cares, Elise, and CJ Spears for Rooted in Care, a 3-hour community healing workshop designed to help participants slow down, reconnect, and restore through culturally rooted wellness practices.

This experience centers nervous system regulation, collective healing, creativity, and self-care through a series of hands-on wellness stations and guided activities. Participants will explore herbal wellness, plant connection, mindfulness, restorative movement, reflective journaling, sound healing, and shared nourishment while learning practical tools that can support emotional well-being long after the workshop ends.

Throughout the workshop, participants will rotate through interactive stations including creating custom essential oil blends, crafting personalized herbal tea blends, engaging in group yoga and guided reflection, and connecting through plant-centered wellness activities. The experience will begin with a grounding sound bowl healing session led by 3LISE to help participants settle into the space and reconnect with themselves and one another. CJ Spears will lead a restorative group yoga and reflection session, offering participants an opportunity to slow down, connect with their bodies, and deepen their healing experience.

As a special offering, the first 10 registered participants will have the opportunity to participate in a live cooking demonstration with Eli, featuring nourishing, wellness-centered recipes and practical tips for incorporating healthy foods into everyday life.
