Rooted and Refreshed: A Black Wellness Experience

Join us for a soulful, intimate wellness reset for Black folks, a 3-hour experience honouring Black History Month through rest, movement, and community connection.

Guided by longtime facilitator Reno, this gathering weaves together grounding practices including a heart circle, breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, and free-form dance. We will begin in circle to arrive and connect, flow into guided breathing and meditation, and then open into intuitive movement, think a dance floor for your nervous system, not choreography or performance.

This is a consent-based space. You are never required to participate in anything you do not wish to. You're welcome to move, rest, observe, or step outside at any time. This is not therapy, but it can be healing.

What to bring:
– A yoga mat or towel
– A water bottle
– A pillow or blanket (optional, but cozy)
– Comfortable clothing you can move or rest in
