We hope you can join us for our upcoming Garden Workday and to also celebrate our KitchenPod! Hope to see you there!
We look forward to getting our hands dirty as our awardee team’s brilliant vision comes to life- a fully mobile, passively cooled structure with solar-powered refrigeration to house the George Washington Carver Middle School garden’s culinary programming. RootDown staff Andres Chopin Food Production Manager will be in the garden to greet and assign you volunteer work that day. The garden has its own entrance located on the corner of 46th and McKinley.
Come prepared with close-toed shoes, sunscreen, and your reusable water bottle. Tools and lunch will be provided. Please check out our Community Hub page or contact our Community team ([email protected]) to learn more about the project.
