Root Beer Float Social with Malvern Historical Commission

Did you know Malvern Borough was the home base for the creation of root beer extract by the Charles E Hires Company from 1899-1904? Back then soft drinks were made at home instead of purchased pre-made in bottles or cans. Today, we have a myriad of businesses that call our Borough home, including Scoops 'N' Smiles Ice Cream & Water Ice, who will be providing the ice cream for our root beer floats!
The event is from 2-4pm at the History Center located at Borough Hall. We'll answer more questions on the businesses we've had in our area, and maybe even play some root beer themed games! All are welcome, so invite your friends!
