He’s a former LSU baseball star (on the 1991 and 1993 National Championship LSU baseball teams) as well as the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame president and CEO and owner of the Baton Rouge Rougarou baseball team. You may also be familiar with his radio show, Sports Shorts.
