This series offers high school students a unique opportunity to sharpen their critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills. Unlike traditional debate formats, this series emphasizes thoughtful deliberation and impactful discourse—essential tools for tomorrow’s leaders.
Compete alongside the region’s top students at the Cheyenne Regional Debate Competition at East High School on April 19.

Prizes:
The winner of this regional debate will receive a $500 scholarship
The top competitor will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California
The winner will qualify to compete in the National Championship for a share of $50,000 in scholarships!
We will conduct online information sessions via Zoom prior to the tournament - these sessions will be posted here and the Zoom links emailed to the coaches.
A few notes for the coaches/parents:
Adult contacts must register students. Student-only teams are not permitted to enter. All institutions must provide at least one judge (for more than two students, an additional judge is required for every two students).
You may pay your fees here. In the event of drops, fees are not refundable. However, you may replace a debater who is ill or unable to attend at any time.
All participants must be of high school age and attend an accredited high school, virtual school, or be homeschooled. Students who have graduated from high school are NOT permitted to debate unless they are mid-year graduates. Middle school students are not permitted to attend regional tournaments; however, look for additional information on our website in the fall about middle school tournament experiences starting next school year!
Please make sure that students who are under the age of 18 have their parents fill out the following media release form before arrival Saturday morning: reaganfoundation.tfaforms.net/381564. If they are 18 they can sign their own form.
