RomRom & Mycelium @mycelium.festival are joining forces at the legendary Speakerbox @speakerboxlive to present a handful of the talented acts which will be heading North to Chiang Dao for the fantastic Mycelium festival.@venn.nnev We are delighted to welcome one of our favourite live bands the incredible VENN, making their first appearance to the RomRom faithful!
Venn is an independent Thai alternative-folk band consisting of Pree “Wan” Asvaraksha, Naris “Pon” Saropala, Jirakit “A.P.” Taowti, and Tachaphol “Top” Cheevapariyangboon. The band was formed and based in Bangkok, Thailand. They are bilingual, writing music in both Thai and English, as some of the band members have lived abroad at some point. They are experimental, and pride themselves in always trying something new and different. Venn has been officially active since 2020.
Taking on the quintessential concept of the Venn diagram, albeit less on the mathematical side, Venn is a band that embraces the merging of creative minds to push boundaries musically. Although they started off as a folk duo many years ago (by cousins, Naris and Pree), Venn has developed into something entirely different.
Support DJ’s are coming in the shape of the legendary figure of the Bangkok underground scene, the fantastic Kornlee. @kornnlee A regular at clubs and festivals across the country, and an integral part of the Bangkok scene, being involved in virtually every party of space the city has had to offer in recent years.
Rounding off the line up evening will be the RomRom residents, setting the tone in the front room, and keeping you dancing until late with their soulful take on the state of the universe.
