After a nine year recording hiatus, Mayes released her 7th album “Small Victories” in 2024. Self-produced the album’s immediate success proves she is still a household name in the international music scene. Mayes has garnered three WCMAs for Songwriter of the Year, two WCMAs for Album of The Year, one for Blues Artist of The Year, a Juno nomination for Album of the Year, and various Canadian Folk Music Award nominations.
Over two decades, Mayes has toured Canada, US, Europe, UK, and has shared the stage with Levon Helm, Derek Trucks, Ricky Skaggs, Guy Clark, John Hiatt, and many more. With no intention of burning out or fading away, Romi Mayes has proven she is here to stay.
