Shakespeare meets the animal kingdom in this wildly unique take on Romeo and Juliet. With a cast of creatively puppet-ized zoo animals, this classic tail will have spectators young and old on the edge of your seat.“Romeo & Zooliet” is a family-friendly stage adaptation produced exclusively for the Saint Louis Zoo, in partnership with the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. The production features dazzling animal puppetry by world-renowned Michael Curry Design, known for its work on Broadway’s “The Lion King” and “Frozen” along with Olympic and Super Bowl ceremonies. It is adapted from the award-winning graphic novel The Stratford Zoo Midnight Revue Presents Romeo and Juliet by Ian Lendler.
