From Belarus’s foremost ballet company and a proud symbol of its cultural excellence comes a moving rendition of one of the world’s most enduring plays. The ultimate tragic love story of star-crossed lovers comes to life on the Bangkok stage. A glittering masquerade ball, where Romeo and Juliet lock eyes, then hands, then hearts. A fierce street clash in Verona, where fates are sealed. A secret plan to end the Capulet-Montague feud, at the ultimate cost. You may know the story, but you have never seen it told like this. Choreographed by Valentin Elizariev, People’s Artist of the USSR and Belarus, this production unfolds with a powerful ensemble, magnificent sets, and a live orchestra. Shakespeare may have said, “All are punished,” but an evening under the spell of this sweeping, visually stunning performance is a true reward.
