Join Artcinia for an evening of Romantic chamber music with works by Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel and Felix Mendelssohn.
About this Event

Experience an evening of Romantic-era chamber music exploring the musical world of the Mendelssohn family. Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s String Quartet in E-flat major reveals her dramatic clarity, blending expressive intimacy with energetic brilliance. The concert also features Felix Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin, Piano, and Strings, a rarely heard work that highlights a vibrant dialogue between soloists and ensemble.

Join Artcinia for a compelling performance by an intimate group of musicians, with violinist Luigi Mazzocchi and pianist Hiriko Yamazaki as soloists. They are joined by Natasha Colkett, Tess Varley, Yoshihiko Nakano, and Justin Yoder, bringing warmth, elegance, and depth to these richly expressive works.
