Romantasy in the Library!

Join us at Exeter Library for an afternoon celebrating all things Romantasy; the booming literary genre where romance fiction and fantasy collide.

Featring local authors, 2 panel discussions, a workshop, book stalls and creative activities. A day for readers and writers alike

This is a free event. No booking is required, but registering a place will give us an idea of how many to expect on the day

From 12.30 until 3.30 pm we'll have stalls from local authors Madeline Dyer, Roxan Burley, RJ Milner, Hayley Pierce, and Jeanna Louise Skinner - plus booksellers First Draft Books.

From 1 pm we'll have a number of events taking place in the Rougemont Room on the 2nd floor of the Library (accesible via lift and stairs)

Programme of events:
1.00 PM - Panel Discussion: Publishing & Romantasy
An talk on navigating the ever-changing world of publishing - from traditional, to self & all parts in between. PLUS, how social media has changed the face of publishing for Romantasy authors.
1.45pm - Worl-Building Workshop
In thsi workshop led by Romantasy writers, you'll learn how to construct new, fantastical worlds. Perfect for anybody aged 16+
2.30 PM - Panel Discussion: Inclusive Romantasy
A discussion on how and why we write sensitively and inclusively in the Romantasy genre
