Our Romance Book Club was designed with the idea that the world is a mess, and we could all use an escape that guarantees a HEA. Read and gather with fellow romance readers.In September our discussion will be about Teacher of the Year by M. A. Wardell. "This steamy friends-to-lovers gay romance explores what happens when a kindergarten teacher falls for a student's single father—while overcoming trauma and dealing with anxiety—perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston and Anita Kelly. "
Author's Note and Content Guidance: "The characters in the story are consenting adults, and there is explicit, on-page sexual content. It also contains explicit language and adult situations. While I hope to provide an uplifting, sweet and hilarious story about the healing power of love, it's a journey. Along our way, the characters deal with alcohol recovery, traumatic memories of an alcoholic parent, severe anxiety, panic attacks, infidelity (not by mc), and a pregnancy scare."
Jenni's note: I skimmed several chapters and think this will be a lovely read for back-to-school season. Think sweet, fun and sexy.
