Join us for a night of romantic music that all will love. This isn't a long, complex classical concert. Instead, we've chosen our favourite short works, songs that pull at the heart strings and remind us of the people and places we love. We can't wait to share it with you 🎻
Listen to selections from romantic favourites including Tchaikovsky's 'Souvenir d'un lieu cher', Schubert's 'Sonatina in A minor', and Elgar's 'Salut d'amour', alongside well-loved works by Saint-Saens, Dvorak, and Kreisler. The recital will also feature charming folk music from Europe and the Americas 🎶

Rose Light and Feodora zu Hohenlohe began their friendship as teenagers, playing in a chamber music academy at the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium. They have both had great success in their careers since, winning dozens of national and international competitions and scholarships between them. Rose now studies violin in Austria and regularly travels around Europe performing, and Feodora works as a pianist for the Queensland Ballet. They are delighted to present this concert together almost a decade after first meeting.
This is a fundraising concert for Rose's continued violin studies at the Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see them play before she returns to Europe.
