Roman Wight Walk - 3.5 miles

From Carisbrooke Castle you'll descend into the Bowcombe Valley, walking past Roman villas and settlements. Meandering your way alongside the Lukely Brook, you'll see how this ancient waterway carved out this important landscape.

Length of walk: 3.5 miles (approx 2 hours)

Pace of Walk: Gentle - This walk will follow a gentle pace.

Walk grade: Fairly Easy - Gentle, rolling landscape, walking on paths with good to average surfaces. Some walking on gentle inclines, some stiles or steps to be expected en route.

Mobility level: Walkers need to be reasonably agile and mobile. Not suitable for walkers with mobility impairment of any kind
