Please book a ticket for each member of your visiting party, including free children under 5.

Delve below street level to discover the remains of an extensive Roman Town House, including a hypocaust and one of the UK’s only remaining in situ Roman pavement mosaics. Discover also remarkable examples of Roman pottery, silverware and glassware, and a rare Iron Age Helmet dating from the time of Caesar.

Suit up as a Roman soldier in our dress up area, or create your own mosaic design inspired by our ancient pavement mosaic!

We estimate your Roman Museum experience will take approximately one hour.

Please factor in the possibility of a small wait upon arrival in the event of very busy spells.

Please be aware that while online booking is limited to manage capacity, tickets are generally available on the door.
