Lincolnshire was occupied by the Romans for over three centuries, and there are many traces of their presence to be found today.

This talk will take us back to discover all about Roman Lincolnshire and Roman Lincoln. Erik will look at the evidence we have for Roman Lincolnshire, how it changed over time, what Roman Lincoln was like and briefly how it all ended. Having taught Romans at University and to school groups in museums, Erik knows a lot about what we know plus (more importantly) what we do not know as well as what we think we know but is based on dodgy evidence.
