Rollinsford-Dover Public Informational Meeting

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will host a Public Informational Meeting to discuss bridge rehabilitation and replacement alternatives, with associated roadwork and traffic control, including detours, of State-Owned Red List bridge (069/046) carrying Oak Street over CSX RR in the City of Dover and the Town of Rollinsford. The meeting will include Dover officials.
The meeting will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Dover Council Chambers and Conference Room at Dover City Hall, located at 288 Central Ave, Dover, NH. The public is encouraged to attend and participate.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.
This project will have an effect on cultural or historic resources that may be potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
NHDOT programs and services are administered by the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination.
