Roller Derby Bootcamp

Omaha Junior Roller Derby invites you to join our 4 week skate camp. This 4 week introductory course will expose skaters with zero to beginner skills to the game of roller derby. The course is a great opportunity for people who are interested in learning to play or want to return to roller derby after a hiatus. Skaters will learn essential skating skills and game play basics to keep rolling into Omaha Junior Roller Derby’s 2026 season.
Skate camp will meet every Wednesday and Saturday, September 9th through October 10th.
The cost for the 4 week course is $50. Skaters will need to wear the following protective equipment when on skates: helmet, mouthguard, elbow pads, wrist guards, knee pads. Skaters must provide their own mouthguard. OJRD offers a limited amount of loaner gear for skaters to borrow for the duration of camp.
At the completion of the camp, skaters will be eligible to join the league and attend regular practices. League members must pay monthly dues.
