Your local South Simcoe Rebel Rollers roller derby team is returning to Barrie!! Come learn to skate with us - absolutely no experience is required! Are you craving a community of women who support each other no matter what? Have you ever wanted to try roller derby? Or just learn how to skate like a bad-ass? We want you to come join us!
The Derby 101 Fresh Skaters Program is a 12-week program, meeting weekly at Shak's World from 7:30-9:00pm. The program begins with you learning how to skate on quad skates, and then slowly learning the basics of skating and playing roller derby. If you're into hitting others (safely), you can become a part of the team after graduating from the program! And if that's not your jam, you can use your new skating skills to become a referee or even a non-skating official!
