Roll for Shade Ep. 10: Anathema

Roll for Shade returns with another live episode of queer chaos, political intrigue, and extremely questionable disguises.

Last time in Oakfen, the queens finally reunited with Lily — restored, powerful, and very much not the same as when she vanished. As her new abilities awakened, the city revealed its darker underbelly: citizens frozen in stasis, quietly transported through a mysterious loading bay beneath City Hall, all under the watchful eye of the Teknolites.

To investigate, the party went undercover… very undercover. Spyder donned a convincing Ritua disguise to secure a ride to City Hall, while Asha slipped in through a magically unlocked rooftop to spy on a secret city council meeting discussing the unchecked expansion of tek across Oakfen. Meanwhile, subtlety was fully abandoned when Muirín posed as Avery’s mother — inventing the iconic alter ego Whitney White Woman — and caused a scene so loud and entitled that it nearly shattered the reception desk (and the fourth wall).

That distraction proved crucial. As tempers flared in the lobby, Spyder discovered a hidden stairwell leading deep into City Hall’s lower levels… and whatever secrets lie beneath.
