About this Event
Roll & Play is a live, immersive storytelling experience where strangers arrive and heroes leave. Inspired by fantasy tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons, but simplified so anyone can jump in and play. Hosted by professional dungeon master and voice actor Sir Garin Hyde of Livingrooms & Lizards.
HOW IT WORKS
Pick a character from the table — they're pre-made and ready to go. Take one of six seats for a 20-minute round. Sir Garin handles the rules, the world and the pacing, so all you do is make choices and stay in the moment. When your round ends, new players step in and carry the story forward from where you left it. One continuous adventure, shaped by everyone who sits down. While one group is at the table, everyone else is watching the story unfold, grabbing refreshments and exploring the space until it's their turn.

Your $10 also gets you an entry in our raffle. Proceeds go toward producing our independent, North Carolina–published game — so a good afternoon at the table helps put a real one in people's hands.

No experience needed. No rulebook, no prep, nothing to read first.
Come and go as you like — the episodic format means you can come and go as you like. Please note that this is a family friendly event and that food can be purchased in the food court below the venue.
