Rogues' Gallery Comedy Club: Kiri Pritchard-McLean + Mel Owen

Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean is a multi-award winning comedian, satirist and writer. Her recent credits include hosting Live at the Apollo and appearances on HIGNFY, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI, and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.

A regular on the radio, with her own weekly show on BBC Radio Wales, Kiri was also the host of Newsjack, she regularly co-hosts Loose Ends, guest hosted The News Quiz, and has now become the host of her own Radio 4 panel show, Best Medicine, which has recently been commissioned for a second series. 2024 saw her embarking on her fourth and biggest stand-up tour to date with her show Peacock, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us at this work-in-progress show.

Mel Owen, dubbed “Wales’ most exciting new act” (Clwb Comedy), is an award-winning comedian with wins under her belt from Comedy Smash (Liverpool), Comedy Virgins (London) and Comedy Chest (Bristol). Her debut work-in-progress show featured at this year’s Manchester Comedy Festival, with critics pinning her as “one to watch”. Mel has script writing credits on BBC Cymru Wales and Channel 4, and created one of Wales’ most popular podcasts Mel Mal Jal, now on BBC Sounds.

The night is compered expertly by resident MC Chris Barnes and with more comedians to be announced make sure to get your tickets early to guarantee yourself a seat.
