Rodrigo Romero & Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry is one of the few working Jazz Organ groups in the area and has recently done work at stellar venues such as the Montclair Jazz Festival and Trinity Church, as well as respected NYC venues such as Midnight Blue and The Half Note. They recently got picked up by prestigious Jazz Label, Arabesque Records, and are looking to release "Organic Chemistry" later this year.

Radam Schwartz: 

Organ master, Radam Schwartz, is a powerhouse of soul-jazz expression and one of the most revered Hammond B3 organists and jazz pianists of his generation. With a career spanning over five decades, he’s known for blending gospel-rooted groove with hard bop fire, creating music that’s both spiritually resonant and rhythmically rich. Schwartz has greatly contributed to “Organic Chemistry” by bringing two original compositions, leading the concept of an Organ group and co-producing the Mixing and Mastering sessions. 

Rodrigo Romero: 

Rodrigo Romero is a dynamic Peruvian saxophonist whose artistry bridges Afro-Peruvian heritage with the pulse of soul and contemporary jazz. Based in Newark, NJ, Rodrigo is quickly becoming a standout voice in the NYC/NJ jazz and salsa scenes. With the help and guidance of his mentor and collaborator, Radam Schwartz, Romero has put together his second release “Organic Chemistry”. One of the few records available nowadays that features a working Organ band.
