Rocky Night! 50th Anniversary Screening
About this Event
Local author and podcaster Steve Hunt is hosting a very special 'Rocky Night!' at the Doddridge Centre. To mark the 50th anniversary of the film, we will be screening the original, iconic movie on a giant TV.
We will also be having a 'Rocky' playstation competition for anyone who wants to have their shot at the title! Free to enter and with a prize for the winner.
Free popcorn and softdrinks will be available.
Steve will also have signed copies of his books, 'Heavyweight Title Fights of the 1980s' and 'Knockout Movies! A History of Cinematic Boxing' available to purchase at a discounted price.
Even if you don't want to take part in the gaming, feel free to come down early to chat and join in the fun!
'Rocky' Playstation gaming starts at 6.45pm.
Film screening starts at 8pm.
