The Rocksteady Roast returns to Florence Park's favourite community pub for a very special edition - celebrating 25 years of Skylarkin Soundsystem events in Oxford and soothing the hangovers from the main event at The Bullingdon the night before - with a live set by OX4's hot reggae/jazz quartet: Ranglin.This new collaboration between Dave Noble (guitar) Nat Woodcock (keys) Ryan Quarterman (double bass) and Tobias Sonrisa Sturmer (drums) aims at broadening the acclaim of a true giant in Reggae and Jazz - Ernest Ranglin.
Expect reggae-jazz-calypso-funk grooves rooted down with iconic dub bass lines, topped off with classy jazz guitar & keyboard improvisations.
A Sunday to remember: Mouthwatering magic on a plate + 6hrs of vintage island rhythms courtesy of The Count and friends.
Featuring classic reggae, rocksteady, ska, calypso, lovers rock and roots, gourmet coffees, bloody marys and the Postboys' signature, sumptuous roasts.
