ROCKLAND- Upper Nyack: Route 9W North of Christian Herald Road Cleanup

May 3, 2025 from 10 AM to 2 PM

Join local clean water advocates for a cleanup along 9W, north of Christian Herald Road, from 10 AM to 2 PM for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. This is a rain or shine event.

Volunteers will meet at the gas Station on the corner of Christian Herald Road and Rt. 9W, 501 N Highland Ave, Nyack, NY 10960. Parking is available at the gas station.

We recommend that all Sweep volunteers bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, insect repellent, work gloves and hand sanitizer. If you have a safety vest, please bring it. This is on the side of a busy highway.

This site is not suitable for elementary-aged children.
