Rockland Pride Guiding Lights: We celebrate queer and trans visibility in Rockland. We honor the history of Pride as an uprising against police brutality inflicted on queer and trans people. We create community-based safety outside of carceral systems. We welcome people in their whole selves by centering accessibility and strive for intergenerational connection. Rockland Pride is not a commercial endeavour, but a showcase of the abundance of creativity and resources in our community. We lift up queer voices in all their diversity - including joy, grief, and rage.
