Join us for Rockin’ for Brandi — a Community Rockabilly Dinner & Dance Fundraiser bringing friends, neighbors, local businesses, and supporters together for an unforgettable evening in support of Brandi Ortega Lopez.
Brandi, a member of our Raymore community, is facing glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. After being unable to tolerate chemotherapy and radiation, Brandi has begun pursuing alternative treatment options. Many of these treatments are not covered by insurance and come with significant out-of-pocket expenses for Brandi and her family.
This event is our opportunity to come together as a community, have an incredible evening, and help ease some of that financial burden while Brandi continues pursuing the treatment and care options that are right for her.
🎸 WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re bringing the 1950s back for one night with:
🍽️ An upscale 1950s diner-inspired dinner
🎙️ Live Rockabilly music following dinner
💃 Dancing
🏆 A Volunteer Dance-Off Competition during the dancing
👗 A Best Dressed Vintage Style Contest
🎁 Live & Silent Auctions featuring donated items, experiences, gift certificates, and more
💘 The Rockin’ & Romance Date Auction
🎟️ Additional fundraising fun throughout the evening
❤️ And a room full of people coming together for Brandi!
💃🏆 VOLUNTEER DANCE-OFF COMPETITION
Think you’ve got the moves — or just love to dance?
Once dinner is finished and the live music gets going, it’s time to hit the dance floor! 🎸🎶
During the regular dancing, our Volunteer Dance-Off participants will be right out on the floor dancing alongside everyone else — no special performances and no separate competition round.
They’ll simply be part of the fun while competing for the title of Dance-Off Champion! 🏆
So when the music starts, get out there and dance! Whether you’re competing, cheering on your favorite, or just enjoying the music, everyone gets to be part of the fun.
More details about becoming a Volunteer Dance-Off participant and how the winner will be chosen will be announced soon!
👗🏆 BEST DRESSED VINTAGE STYLE CONTEST
Break out the swing dresses, polka dots, rolled-up jeans, leather jackets, pompadours, pin-up style, vintage glam, greaser looks and your best classic ’50s flair!
We’ll be holding a Best Dressed Vintage Style Contest during the evening, so if you’ve been looking for an excuse to really dress the part — this is it!
Inspired attire is encouraged and will make the evening even more fun, but it is absolutely not required. This is still a special evening, so guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion — whether that means going all-out vintage or choosing your favorite dressy evening attire.

Yes… we’re adding a little romance to the Rockabilly! 😉
During the evening, we’ll hold our Rockin’ & Romance Date Auction featuring volunteer participants paired with donated date experiences.
Bid on a fun night out while helping us raise even more for Brandi!

We’re reaching out to businesses and individuals throughout Raymore and the surrounding communities to put together an incredible collection of auction items and experiences.
From date-night packages and local experiences to gift certificates, services, baskets and special items — there will be plenty to bid on throughout the evening.
Every winning bid means more support for Brandi. ❤️

Rockin’ for Brandi is more than a fundraiser.
