Join during the Granville Candlelight Walking Tour for "Rockin' Around the Baskets", at the Granville Center for the Arts in collaboration with Denison University's Alpha Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi, for an epic celebration of holiday spirit and philanthropy! It will be an unforgettable festive event packed full of music, community, treats, crafts, gift baskets, art, and so much more!
Step inside a winter wonderland at the arts center and enjoy a buffet of sweet treats, creative kids' crafts, free coffee from Bella's Beans, and multiple chances to win a variety of baskets, including Denison-focused baskets (great for students, alums, and parents), art-inclusive baskets (featuring original works and creative pieces), and community-focused baskets (filled with goods and experiences from local partners), all while soaking in live music performances by The Denison Hilltoppers, Columbus legend KaTanya Brewer (@sidewalk_serenades), and a special performance by a Denison jazz group, Hear Me Out.
Adding to the excitement, we'll also be debuting a new gallery exhibit by local Granville painter Heather Clevenger, showcasing her latest collection of stunning works.
Topping off this wondrous community event, 100% of proceeds from the gift basket raffles will benefit three amazing organizations making a lasting local impact this holiday season.
Who We're Supporting with the gift basket proceeds:
-LAFATA Drop-In Center (Limpopo, South Africa): Provides meals, safe spaces, youth empowerment, and HIV testing/treatment linkage for orphans, vulnerable children, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
-Hlokomela Clinic (South Africa): A grassroots healthcare organization that
reaches over 60,000 people annually with HIV/TB prevention, reproductive health services, and mobile outreach clinics.
-Granville Center for the Arts (Granville, OH): A cornerstone of local culture, offering exhibitions, performances, and arts education that strengthen and enrich our community.
