Rocketship Storytime with Salisbury History Festival 2026 - Tales of Pooh & Paddington

Come and join us on this special Salisbury History Festival occasion and hear adventures from the tales of Pooh and Paddington. Celebrating 100 years since Winnie the Pooh was first published and Michael Bond, Paddington's creator, was born.
There are five storytime slots throughout the day-
11.00am
11.30am
12.00pm
12.30pm
1.00pm
These storytimes are free and there is no need to book
There is also a competition for the best dressed teddy bear! Dress up your bear and bring it to the shop at your chosen storytime slot and we'll take a photo of it. All the entries will be judged by Mayor Jenny Bolwell and the prize winning entry will be announced at the Paddington statue in Fisherton Street at 2pm
