Simply amazingThe best tribute show Ive ever seenCant wait to see this show againThese are just a few of the fan comments from the last time Columbia, SC based rock band Tokyo Joetook their Rocketman Elton John Tribute on the road.The show, which features Eltons drummer of 13 years Charlie Morgan, works hard to recreate not onlythe look but the sound of a real Elton John concert.Lead singer Greg Bickley notes that when many people think of Elton John they think of his trademark sunglasses and outrageous costumes. We go to great lengths to wear costumes that are exact replicas of those worn by Elton himself and to entertain visually with state of the art lighting and a video screen. But anyone who has seen a live Elton John performance knows that it has always been first and foremost about the music. And thats one of the big advantages of having Charlie on drums. He stillplays the songs the same way he played them with Elton so it gives us a solid foundation to get an authentic Elton sound.
