Join our rockband music class where students will learn and perform music in a fun, collaborative setting. Each month, students will learn at least two songs (depending on their skill level), gaining a deeper understanding of their instrument and how to work together as a band.
They'll also get hands-on experience setting up and breaking down the necessary equipment, including microphone stands, PA systems, guitar amps, and drums, to help them become familiar with the behind-the-scenes action of live performances.
What’s Provided:
- Microphones, amps, cables
- Drums, keyboard
- Ear plugs
- PA system
What Students Need to Bring:
- Their instrument (guitar, bass, etc.)
- Guitar picks, straps, drumsticks
- Notebook, sealed water bottle
Student Performance:
After 3 months of practice, students will showcase their skills in a live performance at the Turner Gym!
