North Carolina Wesleyan University is excited to bring back Rock the Mount, the annual fall kickoff celebration welcoming the incoming Class of 2030 and celebrating our whole community! This signature event marks the official start of the academic year and brings together students, local businesses, organizations, churches, and nonprofits for a day full of fun, food, music, and connection.
✨ What to Expect:
🎓 Bishop Tunnel Tradition – Cheer on new students as they walk through a spirited tunnel of applause from returning students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members!
🍔 Food Trucks & Local Flavor – Satisfy your cravings with delicious eats from local vendors, including favorites like Three Boys Catering, Minnie’s Food and Thingz, Sweet P’s Galaxy Lemonade, and more!
🎶 Live Entertainment – DJ 3two1 spins the beats while friends, family, and community mingle and enjoy the festivities.
📢 Vendor Displays – Explore booths hosted by local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners showcasing what they offer to Wesleyan students and beyond.

• NCWU provides a 6-foot table — vendors bring a tablecloth.
• Optional tents (max 10’x10’) recommended for shade.
• Space is FREE—but limited, so sign up early!
