ABOUT THE BANDS -
SNAPCAT BANDITS is a powerful and emotionally charged alternative rock/grunge duo with pop/punk vibes that emerged out of the backdrop of Detroit and exploded onto the indie rock music scene in 2023. Mike Krupinski brings his signature dynamic guitar sound and melodic vocal melodies, and Melanie Marshall brings her heavy-hard hitting and hook driven drums that has forged the sound of Snapcat Bandits. Influences include Soundgarden, Nirvana, Silverchair, Jimi Hendrix, and Metallica to name a few. SNAPCAT BANDITS as they bring you genuine, energetic off-the-rails, loud and sweaty live shows. Nicknamed “Detroit’s Dynamic Duo” by the indie rock community, they are in the process of releasing their third EP album called “Down to the Last Minute: Part 1” including 5 tracks starting with “Bury Myself Down”.
KING NORMAN:
Located in southeast Michigan, King Norman’s combination of sludgy punishing riffs, psychedelic experimentation and dynamic vocals create a sonic experience focusing on the brutal and the ethereal. Songs such as No More Pleasure and Empty Street from their 2025 album, Enjoy Your Mind, exhibit the eclectic nature of their song writing.
MIND RIOT is a powerful alternative rock trio formed in 2025 out of Macomb, Michigan. The lineup consists of Aubrie Earl on lead vocals and bass, Aedan Sherwood on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Jack Dobbie on drums. Their influence lies in the intense and rebellious sound of rock tracks from the 70s through 90s, including those of Motley Crue and Pearl Jam. The voices of Mind Riot's predecessors are clear through their raw, explosive music; yet their individuality and connection to the modern world shines through within their innovative guitar melodies and lyricism. The three-piece has played at many iconic venues, such as the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor and the Token Lounge of Westland, and has performed alongside renown artists including Sponge, Helix, and Kingdom Come. Mind Riot will also support Turning Jane at Parts & Labor in Melvindale for their Queen of Hearts tour.
