It's 1987, and the fabled Bourbon Room - a gritty but beloved rock club on the Sunset Strip - is fighting for survival. When small-town dreamer Sherrie arrives in Hollywood, she meets aspiring rocker Drew, who dreams of making it big. But when German developers threaten to tear down the Strip and arrogant rock superstar Stacee Jaxx blows into town, dreams, romances, and the future of rock and roll are thrown into chaos.
