'Rock Island Lives'
About this Event
'ROCK ISLAND LIVES' Private Museum visit and illustrated talk.
Join us at the Eel Pie Island Museum to soak up the history of this incredible Thames isle, before heading to the nearby Twickenham Club for a deeper dive into the many artists and diverse musical stylings that graced the stage of the legendary 'Eelpiland' venue.
The museum will be open between 5 - 6pm, for you to enjoy exclusive access to our displays, with our friendly team on hand share their knowledge and stories.
We will then stroll on to the Twickenham Club (just a couple of minutes walk away), for the second part of the evening, where you will find EPIM music specialist, Pete Watt, ready to entertain and enlighten you with an illustrated jaunt through the Eel Pie Island music story, which began 70 years ago in 1956.
The Twickenham Club has a licensed bar, so you can grab yourselves a drink to wet your whistle in readiness for the Q&A session afterwards.
Gather up your music-loving mates and come and join us!
