The Palmetto Voices Spiritual Ensemble is a diverse group of singers under the direction of Dr. Sonja Sepulveda. Composed of professional musicians, music educators, and dedicated, life long choral singers, Palmetto Voices Spiritual Ensemble brings together musicians living in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, and Michigan. The ensemble gathers together only 3-4 times each year. However, everyone shares the same love and passion for the preservation of Spiritual in choral concert settings. In addition to the spiritual, the musical range of PVSE includes African folk songs to modern compositions and contemporary genres.
We are happy to announce that 100% of ticket sales proceeds will go directly to our scholarship fund! The Rock Hill Music Club provides scholarships to students from each of the high schools in York County: Rock Hill, Northwestern, South Pointe, Fort Mill, Catawba Ridge, Nation's Ford, and Clover High Schools. Students majoring in music at Winthrop University are also scholarships for distinguished academic and musical excellence.
