Rock & Roll Circus featuring Who’s Next, The Beatles For Sale and The Rollin Stoned
This was the show everyone was begging for in 1969 but it never happened - but now these three TOP tributes bring this mythical show to the stage - one night not to be missed!
From the iconic opening chords of ‘I Can’t Explain’ to the majestic pomp of ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ Who’s Next embody The Who in their prime. Expect to see Daltrey’s swinging microphone and gutsy vocals, Townsend’s trademark windmill guitar playing style, Entwistle’s ice cool virtuoso bass playing and Moon’s wild-man antics; demolishing the drums like a man possessed! Who’s Next wear period stage outfits and use authentic instruments to create the total WHO concert experience.
The Beatles For Sale have a full repertoire of the Beatles’ most famous songs; from early tracks such as Please Please Me and Love Me Do through to Rubber Soul and Revolver classics like Nowhere Man and Paperback Writer and right up to the likes of the seminal Hey Jude. This ‘Fab 4’ have worked with artists such as Midge Ure (Live Aid, Ultravox), Tony Visconti (David Bowie / Marc Bolan), Neil Finn (Crowded House) and Mary Hopkin (as produced by Sir Paul McCartney himself!) not to mention Morrissey and Nancy Sinatra, amongst a host of others.
The Rollin Stoned are a tribute to The Rolling Stones focusing on the early part of their career from 1964 – 1969 including ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, ‘Paint It Black’, ‘Not Fade Away’ and ‘Satisfaction’. They have been described by The Times as ‘better than the real thing’ and it’s not just enthusiastic fans who rate The Rollin Stoned so highly, it’s the people in the know and those from the Stones’ inner circle; even booking the band for a band member’s birthday party!
