About this Event

Join us at Attollo HQ for a Professional Development Series session with Robin Sarratt, President and CEO of LancasterHistory.

Robin has spent nearly two decades at LancasterHistory — joining as Director of Development in 2007, rising to Vice President, and stepping into the top role in 2025. Before Lancaster, she built her museum career at the Appalachian Cultural Museum in Boone, NC, at Doris Duke's historic Rough Point estate in Newport, RI, and spent seven years at the Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum as Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations.

Her tenure at LancasterHistory has been defined by a commitment to making history accessible, community-driven, and relevant to everyone. She has been a driving force behind the Thaddeus Stevens and Lydia Hamilton Smith Center for History and Democracy — a $19 million project that openedearlier this year in May and tells one of Lancaster County's most important stories through the lives of two extraordinary figures.

In this session, Robin will share what it looks like to lead a mission-driven organization, how history connects to the challenges of today, and why preserving and sharing community stories is one of the most meaningful things any of us can do.
