The day will open with a powerful drum performance by the Tyehimba African Drum and Dance Ensemble, followed by welcoming remarks from Executive Director Azsherae Gary and The People's 250 founder Riley Jones IV.

Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy:

• Guided tours of the Paul Robeson House led by youth docents and community docents
• A film screening in 4949
• Oopportunities to connect with local organizations
• Food, performances, and fellowship on the back patio
• Dramatic readings and speeches featuring actors from Wilma Theater, highlighting the voices of Paul and Eslanda Robeson
• A special People’s 250th program segment exploring community visions for the future
