Looking for a space where the energy is raw, the words are real, and the community is unmatched? Welcome to Coffee & Conversations—the monthly open mic and poetry series hosted by at the Walnut Street West Library.
This isn't your average, quiet library night. We are setting the vibe with free coffee, good energy, and a platform for local voices to shine. Whether you are stepping up to the mic for the first time, sharing a story, or just looking to sit back and absorb some incredible art, there is a seat here for you.
🔥 The Vibe
Two Featured Poets: Every month, Amira brings two incredible featured poets to the center stage to share their work and set the room on fire.
The Open Mic: The floor is yours. Poets, storytellers, and acoustic artists are all welcome.
Perks: Free coffee, refreshments, and immaculate community vibes.
⏰ The Rundown
We like to keep things fluid and let the creativity flow, but here is what you can expect when you walk through the doors:
Doors Open & Sign-Ups: Arrive right at 4:30 PM to grab a coffee, catch a vibe, and get your name on the open mic list (slots are limited and fill up fast!).
The Main Event: A dynamic blend of live performances from our two featured poets mixed with raw community voices during the open mic session.
The Hangout: Stick around until 6:30 PM to network, chat with the poets, and connect with creative minds in West Philly.
Admission: Always free, always open to all.
