Road to 250 Arizona Traveling MuseumEastern Arizona College, in partnership with the Town of Thatcher and Graham County, invites the community to experience the Road to 250 Arizona Traveling Museum on Friday, March 20, 2026.
This special event is part of Arizona’s statewide commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The traveling museum will bring interactive exhibits and historical displays to campus, along with a full day of activities for families and visitors of all ages.

Throughout the day, visitors can tour the traveling museum and enjoy food, music, live performances, a photo booth, cookie decorating, and a roping dummy activity.
The event will also include a free USA 250 Car Show sponsored by the Hispanic Heritage Corporation. Community members are invited to bring their vehicles and participate at no cost. Car show participants may roll in beginning at 9 a.m., with awards presented for several classes including hot rod car, hot rod truck, low rider car, low rider truck, lifted truck, muscle car, import, and bicycle.
The traveling museum will visit several communities in the region during the week. It will stop in Safford on Monday, March 16, on the City Hall lawn, and in Clifton on Wednesday, March 17, before arriving in Thatcher on Friday, March 20. The EA event will be the final opportunity in the region to experience the traveling museum.
This event is free and open to the public.
