Road Gang Lunch and Tour at FHWA Research Laboratories

Join us on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from noon to 4:00 p.m. for an interactive tour of FHWA’s Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center in McLean, Virginia.

The event begins with lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., followed by a guided tour of the facility’s cutting-edge research labs from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., including the Saxton Transportation Operations Lab, Human Factors Laboratory, Highway Driving Simulator, Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory, Structures Lab, and Pavement Testing Facility.

Attendees will gain insight into the wide range of transportation research conducted by FHWA while enjoying a catered lunch featuring salads, sandwiches, sides, drinks, and dessert. Registration is $20 for members and $30 for non-members, with space limited to 60 participants and a registration deadline of May 4. All attendees must pass through building security and present Real ID-compliant identification for entry.
