Get Ready for the RNLI Raft Race 2026!
Join us in person for a day full of fun, challenges, and teamwork at the RNLI Raft Race 2026. Whether you're racing or cheering from the sidelines, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the thrill of the water, support a great cause and pick up some vital water safety tips. Don’t miss out on the excitement – gather your crew and dive into the action!
Each 4 person raft = £25
Children and paddle board race is free
W-S-M RNLI is looking for teams to race the following:
1. 1300-1345 - Local heats (we need our local teams to go head to head! e.g. Weston Coastguard vs Seafront Rangers)
2. 1345-1400 - Children’s races using all types of inflatables
3. 1400-1415 - Paddle boarders race
4. 1415-1445 - The grand race – Beat the Lifeboat Raft! – Trophy Race
5. 1445-1500 - If time allows – last person on the raft
All rafts must be transported to and from the station as arranged with the event lead. Rafts must be human powered only to prevent any pollution to the lake. Rafts must leave the water with all pieces, no waste remaining. Leave only footprints.
